2048 by Gabriele Cirulli is the official version of the brilliant Android puzzle game developed in HTML5 by Gabriele Cirulli, in which you move squares back and forth in a four-by-four grid, trying to get the highest score.

Each time you make a move, another square with the value of 2 will appear in the grid. Two squares of the same value can be joined together, and when they merge, the value of the square will become the combined value of the previous squares. So if you join two squares of 16, for example, they will become a square of 32.

With this simple (yet endlessly complicated) gameplay, you have to try to get the highest possible score, 2048, hence the name of the game. And getting 2048 will be far from easy.
